90th Birthday Cake (1735)

Our client wanted a special birthday cake for her grandpa’s 90th birthday. Using our whimsical birthday cake as a template, we personalized the cake to include some of grandpa’s favorite things. His three dogs, a black lab, a yellow lab, a black Portuguese water dog and one orange tabby cake all have a home on the 2 tier cake.

Grandpa sits atop the cake dressed in khaki pants, red sweater and white collared shirt. The cake is covered in ivory fondant with polka dots and stripes in lavender, black, light blue, and royal purple. Flavors included vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream and chocolate cake with coconut buttercream.
