50th Birthday Topsy Turvy Cake
Posted to All Pastries, Celebration Cakes, Topsy Turvy Cakes on Saturday, February 2nd, 2008.We were asked to create a three tier maroon, gold, white and black topsy turvy cake for a 50th birthday party at Romantico’s Restaurant in Randolph, NJ. We decorated the cake with mementos that were meaningful to the recipient including a lobster, shells from LBI, poker chips, a cigar, a hockey stick and a top tier with a corkscrew.
The top two tiers are red velvet layered with cream cheese and the bottom tier is chocolate cake with raspberry chambord filling.

I think this is the cake that was being decorated when Geoff and I were at your shop for our cake tasting… It turned out beautiful!!! We love your work and are so excited to see how OUR cake turns out!!
