1st Birthday Tree Stump Cake

It was a rough weekend for cakes in NJ this weekend because of hurricane Irene. However we did manage to get this cake out the door for a girl’s 1st birthday party.

The sculpted tree stump cake includes mushrooms, hot pink & purple blossoms, orange and blue butterflies, lily of the valley  and of course ladybugs! It was based off of a tree stump cake we did at the beginning of the year.

At the top of the cake is a cute grey fondant mouse next to a rolled purple number 1. The entire cake was chocolate with vanilla buttercream.
