1st Birthday Ladybug Cake
I love incorporating ladybugs into our cakes. Whether it’s a small ladybug like the one on Beverly & Sam’s Wedding cake or a larger one like the cake below, it’s always fun to include a lucky ladybug.
This ladybug is smiling in her hot pink shell with lime green polka dots. The cake flavors included chocolate cake with strawberry buttercream, vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream and red velvet with vanilla buttercream.
Red Ladybug 1st Birthday Cake
Update: Another very similar version of this cake was done recently. The ladybug has some color changes with a red body and white dots with a black face. We also worked in red and black into the cake to replace the shades of pink in the prior version.
