1st Birthday Jungle Party Cake (1442)
Continuing this week’s theme of animal cake, this 4 tier cake is decked out for a safari themed 1st birthday party. The top of the cake includes a boy next to a lion in a party hat. Other animals joining the party include a tiger, monkey, giraffe, alligator and elephant.
The cakes flavors included pistachio with chocolate buttercream, chocolate cake with hazelnut buttercream, vanilla cake with coconut buttercream and red velvet with raspbery chambord and lemon cream cheese. We delivered the cake to Apple Seeds in New York City.

Here’s a smaller version of the jungle cake for another first birthday. This cake is two tiers and includes a lion, elephant, monkey and giraffe all celebrating for Bharat’s birthday!

This cake is absolutely adorable!! I wish I had seen this before my niece’s first birthday, since it was zoo animal themed. Are the figurines made out of modeling chocolate?? Absolutely stunning cake. I frequently look at your site and I use some of your cakes on my blog too, with credit of course. This cake is just another shining example of the fabulous work being done!

I adore those gumpaste animals!! I don’t know whether you intended for the zebra and the giraffe to be playing “monkey in the middle”, but that is what I think of every time I see them. It always makes me laugh. I can’t help but wish I had this as my birthday cake THIS year, even though I’ll be turning seventeen not one. Add a splash of purple and it would be absolutely perfect for me. {lol
