1st Birthday Animal Cake
Posted to All Pastries, Children's Cakes on Sunday, November 16th, 2008.Each animal on this two tier cake is dressed in a party hat to celebrate Zachary’s 1st Birthday. The cake was inspired by our Jungle cake and includes a giraffe, lion, zebra and cute little crocodile emerging from the bottom tier. The entire cake was chocolate cake with oreos and cream filling.

I get online atleast 4 times a week and everytime I do I always swing by this website just to view this cake! It is absolutely breathtaking (like all of them). I am so drawn to this desgin. Its genius. I’m going to have my son’s first birthday in jungle theme. This cake is perfect! Just wondering are the animals edible or just toys????

This is absolutely adorable. I’ve started making cakes myself over the past couple of years – self taught – and I am TERRIFIED to use fondant, but it certainly produces a “cleaner” cake. I’m just too scared to try! But this cake is perfection!
