Nibblin’ on sponge cake,
watchin’ the sun bake….
All of those tourists covered with oil.
Strummin’ my six string on my front porch swing.
Smell those shrimp
They’re beginnin’ to boil.
Wasted away again in Margaritaville…
The thing about it is that there was actually ‘nibblin’ on sponge cake’ going on here. Well, not so much sponge cake, as red velvet and chocolate fudge cake….but it’s close enough! These 3 cakes were created for a 60th birthday party with a Margaritaville theme at the Hamilton Farm Golf Club in Gladstone, NJ. A parrot on a perch, margarita with a lime, and cheeseburger…..some people claim that there’s a woman to blame, But I know it’s Pink Cake Box’s fault….

We incorporated various mementos into this 50th birthday cake including Italian wine, 2 sheepdogs, the father’s daughters, a British passport, and a giraffe. The party was held at Johnny Rockets in the Short Hills mall. The top tier of the cake was carrot cake with vanilla buttercream, the 2nd was lemon cake with lemon buttercream filling and the bottom tier was chocolate cake with hazelnut frangelico

Polka Dot Bride is running a wedding dress giveway for Australian brides to be. The contest is only available to Australians, but surprisingly we get a good amount of Australian traffic so I thought it would be worthwhile to post about it. So if you are from Australia go ahead and enter!

Inspired by our topsy turvy Quinceañera Cake, this 3-tier sweet 16 cake is decorated with flowers, pink feathers and butterflies. The flavors include our signature pink velvet with vanilla, chocolate cake with oreos and cream filling, and vanilla cake with strawberry filling.

Trees, vines, and dragonflies round off this Jurassic park themed 1st birthday cake. Sitting on top of the 2 tier cake is a Tyrannosaurus Rex, clad in a party hat! Both tiers include alternating flavors of chocolate and vanilla cake with chocolate and vanilla pudding.

If the shoe fits…..
This ‘glass’ slipper cake was created for a bridal shower. The sugar shoe rests on top of a light blue pillow cake. The bottom tier is covered in ivory fondant with swiss dots and a silver ribbon around the base of the tier. The cakes is white cake with oreos and cream filling…and the pillow is red velvet cake with vanilla buttercream filling.

Thats my cake!!! What a beautiful gorgeous job you did on this cake. When I first saw it at my surprise party I didn’t realize it was actually a cake. My bridal party went above and beyond and you did an amazing job. You are truly talented and the cake was delicious. Thanks for making my day even better.

This gift box cake cake was created for a friend’s bridal shower. We hand painted the black toile and finished it off with red fondant bow. Inside the gift box was vanilla cake with cannoli filling.

We created this Volkswagen Bug car for a groom’s cake. The back of the car reads “Just Married” across the bumper and the license plate reads “Love Amy” from the bride.

Each of the 35 cupcakes we provided for this baby shower were topped off with small green, yellow, pink or blue flowers. The cupcake flavors include vanilla and chocolate cupcakes with vanilla buttercream.
The top cake for the cupcake tower included a pregnant lady on top with different color polka dots. The cake was white cake with hazelnut filling.

We don’t have a picture of the cupcakes setup on the stand - but here is a picture of our new cupcake stands:
