Okay – I know we just recently posted a photo of a similar cupcake cake, but I really love the look of the cupcake on this one. So please excuse the repeat post!
I’m not Irish, but my husband is and we both love to Saint Patrick’s Day! As I write this we are both celebrating with an extra cold Guinness. Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!
The pregnant lady topper returns – this time we added additional decorations including a pale yellow baby carriage and several shopping bags. The rest of the decorations followed a sunflower/bumblebee theme.
The flavors included pink velvet with raspberry buttercream. The cupcakes and topper were arranged on our small cupcake stand which was included as a rental.
This wedding cake is for my good friend Laura from My Bellissima. We decorated the tiers with hand piped paisleys accented with amber crystals. The cake is a champagne color to match Laura’s dress and the ruching between the tiers also match her gown. The top tier includes sugar roses, orchids, hydrangeas and berries. Finally each tier is adorned with a thin green band.
The flavors included mocha cake with peanut butter and oreos and cream buttercream, banana cake with chocolate and peanut butter buttercream, chocolate cake with coconut and almond buttercream, red velvet with lemon cream cheese and raspberry buttercream, and vanilla cake with peanut butter, oreos and chocolate buttercream. We delivered the cake to the Venetian in Garfield, NJ.
Laura left us this wonderful comment after her wedding:
What can I even say about this cake except, OMG! It was STUNNING, AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL and DELICIOUS! You exceeded my expectations 10 fold! I adore you and can’t thank you enough! It was a true crowd pleaser and everyone can’t stop talking about it! You and your team are the best! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Leaping out of the top of this 3 tier square gift box wedding cake is Milo a 7 month old Portuguese water dog. He’s a sweet shaggy soft brown dog with amber eyes, white paws and a white belly. We dressed Milo in a tuxedo to add a touch of sophistication.
The flavors included chocolate cake with hazelnut buttercream and red velvet with vanilla buttercream. We delivered the cake to the Grammercy Park Hotel in NYC.
The girl atop this cupcake topper is dressed in a cupcake outfit with a tutu. Pink cutout flowers and musical notes decorate the tier along with a pink number “1″ on the front. The flavor of the topper included pink velvet with vanilla buttercream. We also included 70 cupcakes with our cupcake stand. Flavors included carrot cake with lemon buttercream, vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream, red velvet with vanilla buttercream, chocolate cake with peanut buttercream and almond cake with raspberry buttercream. All the cupcakes were topped with cutout flowers.
This is one of those cases where the picture does not properly convey how large the cake is. So I’ll preface this post by stating the cake is 3 feet long and feeds 100 people. So keep that in mind as you read this
The story behind this cake is that it represents a model of a plane the birthday boy wants but does not have yet. The cake includes models of his dogs, his company’s logo, LED lights and a grammy. We delivered the cake to Atlantic City, NJ. Inside the plane was marble cake with oreos and cream buttercream.
Happy 50th Birthday Gary!
Here’s a video I shot at the shop:
Can’t wait till Nancy sends us the professional photos. I agree with her -- the picture doesn’t do it justice…
Dear Anne -- Thank you, thank you, thank you for the unreal cake. The picture on your web site doesn’t do it justice!! Everyone was totally blown away by the cake and most importantly, my husband flipped over it!! Every detail was perfect and the addition of the lights was awesome. I can’t wait to get the professional pictures back (not that yours weren’t professional ) -- the cake lit up was especially dramatic in the dark club. I will forward them to you when I get them. It is so true that you can’t appreciate the shear size of it. Of course the cake tasted wonderful!
Again, thanks so much and I look forward to working with you again in the future.
Our pink princess castle cake returns – this time in a miniature format. The castle flavor was chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream. We included our XS cupcake stand with the cake and cupcakes.
