This wedding cake includes 7 tiers covered in ivory fondant with gold ribbon at the base of the tiers. Each tier has different decorations with my favorite being the simple chandelier dots and crystals on the 5th tier. The cake is highlighted with three looped bows with long tails in pale green and a crystal brooch in the center. The flavors included vanilla cake with oreos and cream and chocolate cake with coconut buttercream.

We created this cake for a bride’s fiancé who is a “pizza freak”. The cover of the pizza box has special meaning to the couple since they met in Italy. We included cute flavors including cheesy love, saucy sausage, & puppy-love peppers.

Cake posting will be slow this week since we are preparing for a super secret “extreme” cake challenge.  In the meantime, here is a cherry blossom cake we created for a wedding last weekend.

Our Jester cake is back! The cake was for a 1st birthday and the color scheme is purple with yellow and green diamonds and stripes.

This 3 tier polka dot cake was inspired by our first birthday polka dot cake. This cake has a different color scheme which matches the client’s plates used for the birthday party. The flavors included velvet cake with vanilla buttercream, vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream and chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream.

This four tier topsy turvy cake is filled with all sorts mementos fitting for the birthday girl. The flavors included red velvet cake with lemon cream cheese, vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream, marble cake with raspberry chambord buttercream and two layers of chocolate buttercream and chocolate cake with oreos and cream.

Thank you so much for making me such a beautiful cake for my surprise 30th birthday party. I’ve always admired these creative cakes on tv and I feel so lucky to finally have one. Your attention to detail is incredible.
I know the cake totally didn’t make sense to you (the deer on my roof, kids hiding behind curtains, and oreos…you must think I’m totally nuts) but everyone at the party agreed that it was very fitting for me! Everyone at the party couldn’t stop talking about the cake and really couldn’t focus on anything until they were eating it! It was so delicious! I’ve attached a picture with me and the cake, it truly made my party perfect and I’m looking forward to another special occasion where we can have you make another cake for us! Thanks again!

Cascading sugar flowers including pink peonies, hydrangea and cabbage roses highlight the front of this 6 tier wedding cake we delivered to Mendham, NJ this weekend. The entire cake was vanilla cake with lemon cream cheese filling.

This 3 tier wedding cake with a cabbage rose bouquet was created (201) Bride magazine summer 2009 edition. From the magazine:

Heap’s cake displays classic elegance. This sleek, rounded three-tiered cake is finished in rolled fondant and features a sophisticated gum past cabbage rose bouquet adorned with a satin bow. The lemon chiffon cake is filled with raspberry white chocolate mousse. Heap believes that matching the cake’s flowers to those used in bouquets is a popular trend. “Mimicking a bride’s gown and bouquet is a wonderful way to translate the bride’s style onto a cake”, she says.

We delivered this cupcake stand for a bridal shower to Cafe Metro in Denville NJ today.  The shower feautured green, pink and wine! So we put sugar wine corks on half of the cupcakes, and whimsical ribbon roses on the rest.  The topper was completed with 2 wine glasses featuring the bride and groom’s names.  The stand was completed with a quilted cloth that featured….CUPCAKES!  It was hand-made by the bride’s mom – what a great touch and beautiful tribute to her and daughter….and cupcakes    The cupcakes were chocolate with raspberry and red velvet with vanilla.

We created this two tier cake for a clients daugther’s birthday. The bird’s nest was inspired by our Love Bird’s Wedding cake. The cake is covered in bright yellow fondant with white striped patterns. Brown blossom branches with metallic gold accents run from the base of the tier to the top tier.
